Thank God the ribbon bag tutorial has been published. The final dimension is 19Lx16Wx11D cm (7,5x 6,3x4,33").
Made of satin and organza ribbons. How many meters of organza ribbon did I need to make this bag? I am not sure. Not less than 3 rolls. The width are 2 cm (6/8") and 2.5 cm (1") .
For satin ribbon it needs 2.5 cm. One layer is enough to cover plastic canvas. But for organza, I made it from 2 layers of ribbon, each 2 cm wide. I mixed two colors of ribbon.
On this tutorial I mixed colors as well. In same tones. My tips is just insert ribbon into needle hole without making knot at the ends of the ribbon.
If you use mixed colors, it means we have 4 layers of the ribbon so it'll a little bit difficult while inserting the needle into the hole.
On this tutorial I used lining as well. But if you don't want to to do so, just make sure the back part of your back is neat enough...
D ring on theis tutorial I installed after a plastic canvas covered by ribbon. But it's better, to make it easier to attach the D ring first. Installed it before plastic canvas had covered by ribbon.
